Interbiak announces that, starting next Monday, January 12th , the right-hand lane (out of the three existing lanes) will be closed on the section between PK 87.000 and 86.000 approximately in the direction to San Sebastian of the AP8 motorway , i.e., approximately two kilometers after passing the Iurreta toll barrier.

The purpose of this action is to carry out work to improve the stability and safety of the existing lateral slope on the right-hand side of the indicated section, ensuring long-term road safety. Vehicles will be able to continue using the two remaining lanes, with no significant impact on traffic expected.

The work is expected to be completed during the first half of June 2026. Throughout this period, the relevant roadworks and hazard warning signs will be installed. Users of the infrastructure are advised to respect the signs, maintain a safe distance, and reduce their speed in the affected area, for their own safety and that of the workers.
