  • The road maintenance winter plan is activated until January 7th

    The weather forecast from the Basque Meteorology Service Euskalmet announces snowfall between 300-500 meters, potentially dropping to 200-400 meters during January 6.

    To respond to weather-related incidents, Interbiak has the equipment and personnel in place to ensure proper driving conditions on the Bizkaia section of the AP-8 and in the Artxanda Tunnels.

    Snowplows, de-icing materials, and highway maintenance teams are already prepared. Remember the tips for driving in adverse weather conditions: reduce speed by about 20%, increase following distance when necessary, and brake gently.
